Retrieve an Event Invitation Page URL

Find and share the event registration link so attendees can pre-register for your CEU events.

👥 This article applies to providers, instructors, and Places accounts with access to events.

The Event Invitation Page URL is the public registration link for a specific event. Sharing this link with prospective attendees is the most effective way to drive pre-registration — once they register through the page, they receive event details and location information automatically, and their attendance can be recorded through the CEU Events platform. This article walks you through how to find and copy the URL for any event you have access to.

The Event Invitation Page also plays a key role in accurate attendance reporting. When attendees register through the link, CEU Events handles credit reporting and compliance for over 100 state and association organizations on your behalf.

Before you begin

  • You must be logged in with an account that has access to the event (provider, instructor, or Places).
  • The event must already be created in the platform.

How to retrieve an Event Invitation Page URL

  1. Sign in to www.ceuevents.com using your credentials.
  2. Click on the Events menu.
  3. Locate the event and click on it.
  4. Click Share button, then Copy link.
  5. The link is now in your clipboard and can be pasted anywhere — emails, your website, social media, calendar invitations, or attendee outreach.

Important behavior to know

A few things to keep in mind when sharing an Event Invitation Page URL:

  • The URL is stable unless the event date changes. If you edit the event date, the URL will change. If you've already shared the original URL, you'll need to distribute the updated one.
  • The Register button is removed 2 hours after the event start time. Anyone who visits the page after that window will see the event details but cannot register.
  • You can't register for an event from your provider, instructor, or Places account. Registration requires an attendee account. If you click the Register button while signed in with one of these account types, the platform will not let you complete registration. To test the registration flow, use a separate attendee account or open the page in a browser where you're not signed in.

Best practices

  • Test the link before sharing. Open the URL in a browser.
  • Verify event details first. Anyone who receives the link can register, so make sure the title, date, location, and time are all correct before distributing.
  • Use it as your sharpest call-to-action. When you're driving registration for a specific event, the Event Invitation Page URL is more effective than the broader Company Profile Page or Course Detail Page.
