Enable Your Instructor Profile Page

Activate your public-facing profile page so attendees can find your bio, courses, and upcoming events.

🎓 This article is for instructors.

Your Instructor Profile Page is a public-facing page where prospective attendees can browse the courses you teach, see your upcoming public events, and learn about your background. Activating your profile and keeping it up to date helps you build credibility, meet recognition organization requirements, and become more discoverable to attendees. This article walks you through how to enable your profile, add your bio, and use the page effectively in your communications.

⚠️ Important: Some recognition organizations require an instructor's statement of knowledge and expertise in order for attendees to receive credit. Use the Bio field on your profile to share your qualifications, expertise, and relevant background. Once your profile page is enabled, attendees who attended your events can access your bio for their own reference — making the credit process more convenient for everyone involved.

Before you begin

  • You must be logged in with an instructor account.
  • Your provider must have assigned at least one territory to you. Without a territory assignment, your profile page won't function properly. If you're unsure, reach out to your provider to confirm.
  • Have a short bio ready that summarizes your relevant qualifications and background.

How to enable your Instructor Profile Page

  1. Sign in to www.ceuevents.com using your instructor account credentials.
  2. Click the first letter of your first name in the upper-right corner.
  3. Click Update profile from the dropdown menu.
  4. On the profile page, locate the option to enable your profile page and click Yes.
  5. A unique URL is generated for your profile page.
  6. Add your bio to the Bio section.
  7. Click Update at the bottom to save your changes.

What happens next

Your Instructor Profile Page is live at the unique URL generated when you enabled it. Anyone visiting that URL will see:

  • Your bio
  • The courses you have access to teach
  • Upcoming public events you're scheduled to present

Ways to use your Instructor Profile URL

Once your profile is live, the URL becomes a powerful, low-effort marketing tool. A few ways to put it to work:

Add it to your email signature

Adding your Instructor Profile URL to your email signature is one of the most effective uses. As you communicate with your audience throughout the day — pricing, lead times, selections, and other topics — your signature can passively highlight you as an approved CEU presenter and invite recipients to request you for events.

Example signature format:

John Doe
Company Name
Title
Approved CEU Instructor =>  hyperlinked to your Instructor Profile URL
213.787.7165
www.ceuevents.com

Share it on social media

Add your Instructor Profile URL to your professional social media profiles or include it in posts. Platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook, help you:

  • Showcase your CEU presenter status
  • Highlight the courses you teach
  • Encourage followers to request you for upcoming sessions
  • Expand your professional reach

Best practices

  • Keep your bio current. Refresh it as you earn new credentials, shift focus areas, or take on new course offerings.
  • Coordinate with your provider's marketing team on email signature formatting and brand consistency, especially if your company has signature guidelines.
  • Test your profile URL. Open it in a browser where you're not signed in to see exactly what attendees see.
  • Use the same URL consistently across email, social media, and other channels so attendees know what to expect.

Troubleshooting

  • Your profile URL is generated but the page shows no courses or events. Confirm with your provider that you have access to at least one course and that there's at least one public event scheduled for you to present.
  • Updates to your bio aren't saving. Make sure you click Update at the bottom of the page after making changes. If the issue persists, contact CEU Events support.
  • You changed your bio but the profile page hasn't updated. Try refreshing the page or opening it in an incognito/private window — your browser may be showing a cached version.
