Getting Started as a Provider
elcome to CEU Events — your hub for managing courses, instructors, and continuing education programs.
👤 This article is for providers.
Welcome to CEU Events! Our purpose is helping you educate more and manage less — and as a provider, the platform gives you a central hub for managing your courses, instructors, and the events they deliver. This guide walks you through the key setup steps and points you to the resources you'll use most.
Step 1: Add your courses
Your courses are the foundation of everything else. Start by adding them so you and your instructors can schedule events:
- Add a Course — Add all your CEU and Professional Knowledge (PK) courses. Once added, you and your instructors can schedule events for any of them.
- Upload Presentation Files — Upload the cover pages, PowerPoint presentations, and other supporting materials your instructors will use.
Step 2: Add your instructors
Instructors are the people who deliver your courses to attendees. Get them set up:
- Add an Instructor — Invite your approved instructors to join. Once added, you can manage and monitor all events they create.
- Manage Instructor Course Access — Control which courses each instructor is approved to present.
Step 3: Set up your brand and public profile
A polished public presence makes your program more visible and credible.
- Add or Update the Company Logo — Add the logo that appears on event invitations.
- Enable the Company Profile Page — Activate your public-facing profile page that showcases your CE program. Trade professionals can use it to schedule events directly with your instructors.
💡 Tip: Once your Company Profile Page is enabled, create a link or button on your company website pointing to your unique CEU Events URL. This gives you a clear call-to-action for promoting your CE program.
Step 4: Organize your team's reach
With your courses and instructors in place, the next step is making it easy for trade professionals to find and connect with them.
- Manage Instructor Territories — Assign geographic territories to your instructors. This puts them on the Request CEU Event locator so trade professionals can find and book them for face-to-face CEUs.
Step 5: Empower your instructors
Once your instructors are set up, share the resources they need to deliver successful events:
- Getting Started as an Instructor — The instructor's orientation guide, covering everything from account setup through running events.
- Best Practices for Webinar Presenters — Detailed webinar presentation tips.
- Use Zoom Webinars with CEU Events — Step-by-step Zoom integration guide.
Manage requests and events
As your instructors start scheduling and presenting events, you can oversee everything from your provider account:
- Managing Requests (Providers) — Review and respond to CEU event requests from trade professionals and locations.
- Update the Instructor on an Event — Reassign events to different instructors when needed.
- Schedule Events at Approved Places — Schedule events at firms, showrooms, and association chapters that have approved your program.
Track your program with Reports
CEU Events gives you a full reporting suite to track activity, reach, and credit accuracy:
