Reset Your CEU Events Account Password
How to reset your password if you've forgotten it or want to update it for security.
👥 This article is for all CEU Events users.
There are several reasons you might need to reset your password — you've forgotten it, you want to update it for security, or you simply haven't signed in for a while. This article walks you through the password reset workflow so you can regain access to your CEU Events account quickly.
How to reset your password
- Visit www.ceuevents.com and click Sign in in the top-right corner.
- Click Forgot your password?
- Enter the email address associated with your CEU Events account.
- Click Continue.
You'll receive an email almost instantly with a link to reset your password. Click the link in the email and follow the instructions to set a new password.
⚠️ Important: The password reset link expires in one hour for security. If you don't complete the reset within that time, you'll need to request a new link by repeating these steps.
What if you don't receive the email
If you don't see the password reset email after a few minutes:
- Check your spam or junk folder. Some corporate or institutional email systems can route automated emails there.
- Verify the email address you entered. If you typed the wrong address, you won't receive anything — try again with the correct email.
- Confirm you actually have an account. When you submit the reset request, the page tells you if the email isn't recognized ("Email not in system"). If you see that message, there's no CEU Events account associated with the email you entered — you may need to create one or you used another email when creating your account.
If you've checked all of the above and still don't receive an email, contact CEU Events support.
Best practices
- Use a strong, unique password. Mix uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols. Don't reuse passwords from other sites.
- Reset your password if you suspect it's been compromised. If you notice unusual activity on your account, or used the same password elsewhere that may have been breached, reset proactively.
- Use a password manager. A password manager generates, stores, and auto-fills strong, unique passwords across all your accounts.
- Don't share your account. This violates our Terms of Use and may result in your account being banned. Each user should have their own CEU Events account — sharing accounts will cause issues with credit reporting, certificates, and account history.
Troubleshooting
- You get an "Email not in system" message. There's no account registered under that email address. Double-check the spelling, or try a different email you may have used to sign up.
- The password reset link expired. Reset links expire after one hour. Repeat the reset process to get a new link.
- You're not receiving the password reset email. Check spam, confirm the email address is correct, and verify your account exists. See the "What if you don't receive the email" section above.
- You reset your password but still can't sign in. Confirm you're entering the new password correctly (case-sensitive). If issues persist, try resetting again or contact CEU Events support.
- Still having trouble? Contact CEU Events support and we'll help.
