Access Your Webinar Link
Find and use the link to join a CEU Events webinar you've registered for.
🧑🎓 This article is for attendees.
When you've registered for a CEU Events webinar, the webinar link is available in your account so you can join when the event starts. This article walks you through how to find and use the link, and what to do if you have trouble joining.
How to access the webinar link
- Sign in to www.ceuevents.com with your attendee account.
- From your account dashboard, find the event you registered for.
- Confirm the event is labeled as Webinar.
- In the event details, look for the Webinar link.
- Click the link to access the event.
The link opens in your webinar application (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, GoToWebinar, etc.) — whichever one the presenter is using for the event.
Best practices
- Sign in early. Sign in to the webinar 5-10 minutes before the scheduled start time. This gives you a chance to test your audio and video, and ensures you don't miss the opening.
- Use a desktop or laptop when possible. Mobile webinar experiences can be functional but limited. A computer offers the best experience for taking notes, asking questions, and participating in polls.
- Use a wired connection if possible. If you can plug into ethernet, you'll have a more reliable webinar experience than Wi-Fi.
- Get the Event Code before the event ends. Most webinars end with an attendance recording step using an Event Code. See Record Your Attendance with the Event Code.
Troubleshooting
- You don't see the event on your dashboard. Confirm you completed your registration. If you started a registration but never created an account or signed in to confirm, the event may not appear. Try registering again, or contact CEU Events support.
- You see the event but it's not labeled as a Webinar. The event may be in-person or another format. Check the event details for the format and location.
- The webinar link doesn't work. Try copying it and pasting it directly into your browser. If it still fails, contact the presenter directly — their contact information is in the event details. Only they can troubleshoot a webinar that's having issues on their end.
- You're getting an error from your webinar app. Make sure you have the webinar app installed (Zoom, Teams, GoToWebinar, etc.) and that you're signed in with the appropriate account if needed.
- Still having trouble? Contact the presenter directly using the contact details in the event listing. If you can't reach them, contact CEU Events support and we'll help.
