Activate Additional Course Providers

When a new provider invites you to their program, activate them in your account to access their courses and schedule events.

🎓 This article is for instructors.

Instructors on CEU Events can be associated with multiple providers. If you already have an active instructor account and a new provider invites you to their program, you'll need to activate that provider in your account before you can access their courses or schedule events on their behalf. This is different from your initial account activation — your account is already set up.

⚠️ Important: If a provider has added you but you haven't activated them, you won't see their courses in your account and you won't be able to schedule events for their programs. If you're missing courses or can't create an event you were expecting to set up, check your Course Providers list and activate any provider showing an Activate button.

How provider invitations work

When a new provider adds you to their program, you'll receive an email notification letting you know you've been invited. You can also see pending provider invitations directly in your account under Course Providers at any time, even if you missed the email.

Before you begin

  • You must already have an active instructor account. If you haven't activated your account yet, see Activate Your Instructor Account first.
  • The provider must have already added you to their program. If you're expecting an invitation that hasn't appeared, reach out to the provider to confirm they've added you.

How to activate an additional provider

  1. Sign in to www.ceuevents.com using your instructor account credentials.
  2. Click on Course Providers in the top navigation.
  3. Review the list of providers associated with your account. Any provider you haven't activated yet will show an Activate button next to their name.
  4. Click the Activate button next to the provider you want to activate.
  5. Refresh the page.

Once activated, you'll have access to that provider's courses and can start scheduling and managing events for their programs.

What happens next

After activating, you'll see the provider's courses appear in the Courses section of your account, and you'll be able to select them when scheduling a new event. See Schedule a New Event (Instructors) for the event creation workflow.

Best practices

  • Activate new providers promptly. Don't wait until you need to schedule an event — activate as soon as you receive the invitation so the provider's courses are ready when you need them.
  • Check your Course Providers list periodically. If you work with multiple providers, occasional check-ins help catch invitations you may have missed.
  • Keep track of which providers you represent. Your Course Providers list shows all programs you're a part of — refer to it when in doubt about which provider a particular course belongs to.

Troubleshooting

  • You don't see a new provider in your Course Providers list. The provider may not have finished adding you yet. Reach out to them to confirm. If they confirm they've added you and the invitation still doesn't appear, contact CEU Events support.
  • You clicked Activate but the provider's courses aren't showing up. Try refreshing the page or signing out and back in. If the courses still don't appear, the provider may not have assigned you specific courses yet — reach out to them to confirm your access is fully set up.
  • You can't find the Course Providers option in the top navigation. Make sure you're signed in to your instructor account. If you are signed in and the option is missing, contact CEU Events support.
  • Still having trouble? Contact CEU Events support and we'll help you get set up.
