🎟️ This article is for Conference Organizers.

CEU Events provides the structure, compliance, and tools to help Conference Organizers offer CE credits across multiple seminars at large events. Electronic registration, instant certificates of completion, and automatic credit reporting make every CEU seminar seamless for organizers, presenters, and attendees.

Why CEU Events for conferences

Automated CEU reporting. Take the hassle out of tracking continuing education units. CEU Events reports credits directly to the applicable organizations by the next business day, streamlining the entire process and reducing administrative overhead.

  • Saves time, reduces human error, and minimizes manual data entry
  • Instantly generates attendee certificates of completion, allowing them to download them at any time
  • Streamlined credit submission to organizations like AIA, IDCEC, and more

End-to-end support. Offer attendees a seamless experience with dedicated registration pages for each seminar — including course details, learning objectives, credit information, and presenter bios — making it easy for attendees to understand which credits may apply.

  • Dedicated registration pages for each seminar
  • An attendance recording guide for on-site staff
  • An attendance recording slide with a QR code and unique Event Code for quick attendee registration (in-person, webinar, or hybrid)
  • Approval paperwork and submittals handled where required
  • Email support for your attendees during and after the conference
What we provide for each seminar

For every seminar in your conference, the CEU Events team provides four key resources:

Dedicated registration page. A unique page for each seminar that includes:

  • Course title, description, and learning objectives
  • Length of the seminar
  • Number of credits available
  • Speaker and presenter information

Unique attendance recording slide. A PowerPoint slide with a QR code and a unique Event Code. This slide should be inserted at the end of the presentation. Attendees scan the QR code with their phones to register their attendance and receive their certificate or credit.

Presenter instructions. Each presenter receives clear instructions on the registration process attendees need to follow, so the workflow runs smoothly during the seminar itself. See Record Your Attendance with the Event Code for the attendee-facing process.

Printed attendance recording guide. A printable guide for each seminar that should be kept in the room. It serves as a backup to the slide — useful for handling attendee questions or working around any AV system issues that come up.

How it works

CEU Events handles the conference workflow in three stages:

  1. Plan. Provide us with your conference schedule. We create all the necessary assets — registration pages, attendance recording guides, and attendance slides — for every seminar.
  2. Engage. Promote your seminars and allow attendees to pre-register. You'll have a clear estimate of crowd size for each seminar ahead of time.
  3. Report. Skip the manual work — we handle credit reporting to the relevant organizations. Attendees can download their certificates instantly after recording attendance.
Best practices
  • Share your conference schedule early. The earlier we receive your schedule, the more time we have to coordinate registration pages, approvals, and assets for each seminar.
  • Print attendance recording guides and have them in every seminar room. They're your backup if the AV system has issues or if attendees have trouble with the QR code.
  • Brief your presenters before the conference. Make sure each speaker understands the attendance recording process — when to display the slide, how the QR code works, and what to do if attendees ask questions.
  • Encourage pre-registration. Pre-registered attendees move through the day faster and give you better crowd estimates for each seminar.

Troubleshooting

  • An attendee has trouble registering on-site. The printed Attendance Recording Guide includes backup instructions. Attendees can also visit www.ceuevents.com/attendance and enter the Event Code manually.
  • You have questions about which credits apply for a specific seminar. Each registration page lists the credits available for that seminar. For questions about specific organizations, contact CEU Events support.
  • Still have questions? Contact CEU Events support and we'll help.
