Filter and Export Your Certificates
Quickly find and download certificates from a specific date range and membership — useful for membership renewals, license renewals, and audit submissions.

When it's time to submit certificates for a membership or license renewal, you don't want to download them one by one. CEU Events offers a filtering tool that lets you find all the events you attended within a specific time range and membership — then export the certificates in bulk or individually. This article walks you through how to use it.
Before you begin
To filter by membership, you'll need your memberships and license numbers added to your CEU Events profile. If you haven't yet, see Add or Update Your Memberships and License Numbers.
How to filter your events
- Sign in to www.ceuevents.com with your attendee account.
- At the top of your events list, locate the filtering options.
- Use the From and To fields to specify your desired date range.
- In the All Membership field, select the membership you want to filter by.
- Click Search.
The list of events updates to show only those matching your filters.
Download your certificates
Once you've filtered the events, you have two options for downloading certificates:
Option 1: Combined file (all certificates in one PDF)
To download all the filtered certificates as a single combined file:
- Scroll to the bottom of the filtered list.
- Click the Download Certificates button.
CEU Events generates a single PDF containing all the certificates for the selected events.
Option 2: Individual files (one certificate per event)
To download certificates one at a time:
- Locate the event you want.
- Click its individual Download button.
- The certificate downloads as its own PDF.
Best practices
- Filter to your renewal cycle. Set the date range to match the renewal period for your specific membership or license — that way the export contains exactly what your reporting organization needs.
- Use the combined file for bulk submissions. Most renewal submissions ask for "all certificates from your renewal period" — the combined PDF makes that one upload instead of many.
- Keep your memberships up to date in your profile. If a membership isn't showing in the filter dropdown, it may not be set up correctly in your profile. See Add or Update Your Memberships and License Numbers.
Troubleshooting
- The filter shows no events. Confirm you've broadened your date range. Also check that the membership you're filtering by is one you've added to your profile — and that you've attended events recognized for credit by that organization within the date range.
- A specific membership isn't showing in the dropdown. Make sure it's added to your profile. See Add or Update Your Memberships and License Numbers.
- The Download Certificates button isn't available. Confirm that the filtered list contains events you've attended (you were marked as Attended). Certificates aren't available for events you haven't completed.
- The combined PDF is missing certificates you expected. Verify each missing event shows you as Attended on its individual entry. If you were attended but it's still missing, contact CEU Events support with the event details.
