View Available Courses (Instructors)

Browse the courses you're approved to present, see full course details, and access supporting materials.

🎓 This article is for instructors.

As an instructor, having a comprehensive understanding of the courses you can present is essential to delivering a successful and engaging experience for your attendees. CEU Events gives you a personalized course list showing the courses you're approved to present — based on your connections to course providers. This article walks you through how to access that list and review full course details, including credit information, state recognitions, and downloadable supporting materials.

How to view your available courses
  1. Sign in to www.ceuevents.com using your instructor account credentials.
  2. Click on the Courses menu.
  3. A list of available courses populates, showing key information about each course at a glance.

The courses shown are the ones you're currently approved to present. If you want to add additional courses to your library, see Activate Additional Course (Providers).

Understanding the course list

Each course in the list displays four key fields:

Title

Clicking the course title opens the course details page, where you can access comprehensive information about the course (see the next section for details).

When applicable, you'll also find download buttons under the title for course assets. These may include the cover page, PowerPoint or Keynote presentations, and other supporting materials.

Type

The Type field indicates whether the course is a Continuing Education Unit (CEU) or Professional Knowledge (PK) course:

  • CEU courses are intended for credit and fulfill the requirements for continuing education.
  • PK courses are designed for educational purposes only — they're not officially approved for continuing education credit.
Accepted By

A summary of which associations or licensing boards accept the course for credit. For the full list of recognized organizations, click the course title to open the course details page.

Provider

The course provider this course belongs to. If you're connected to multiple providers, this field helps you quickly identify which course comes from which.

Viewing full course details

For comprehensive information about any course, click the course title to open the course details page. There you'll find:

  • Course title and description
  • Learning objectives
  • Provider information
  • Course length
  • Approval and recognition information, including:
    • The accepting organization
    • Approval code
    • Expiry date
    • Credit value
    • Designations (such as HSW, ADA, etc.)

All applicable state recognitions and approvals are listed at the bottom of the course details page. Review these to confirm where the course meets continuing education requirements for your audience.

💡 Tip: Review a course's details page before scheduling an event. Confirming the course length, credit value, and recognized organizations helps you set accurate expectations with attendees and avoid surprises.

Best practices
  • Familiarize yourself with each course before presenting. Open the course details page, review the learning objectives, and download any supporting materials so you're fully prepared.
  • Note the difference between CEU and PK courses. Be transparent with attendees: CEU courses provide formal continuing education credit; PK courses are educational only and don't qualify for credit.

Troubleshooting

  • You don't see a course you expected to be in your list. Confirm you're approved to present that course. If a provider has activated you for a course but it's not appearing, contact CEU Events support.
