Reports Overview (Providers)

Get familiar with the reports available in your CEU Events account and how to use them to track program performance.

👤 This article is for providers. Looking for the instructor version? See Reports Overview (Instructors).

CEU Events provides a suite of reports to help you understand event activity, monitor instructor performance, track attendance patterns, and meet compliance and audit requirements. Reports support data-informed decisions about your CEU program — from spotting top-performing courses to identifying instructors who may need coaching. This article introduces the Reports section, explains common filters, and links to in-depth articles for each available report.

Event reports
Attendee reports
  • Attendee Accounts — Information about when the events were scheduled and how attendees registered for events. See Attendee Accounts.
  • Attendee Analysis — Deeper analysis of attendee engagement patterns by role, association, and state licensing board. See Attendee Analysis.
  • Attendee Associations — Shows which organizations attendees are associated with. See Attendee Associations.

Common filters

Most reports support these filters to help you narrow your analysis:

  • Type — Filter by in-person or webinar events.
  • Instructor — Filter to a specific instructor.
  • Year — Filter to a specific calendar year.

Best practices for using reports

  • Schedule events before the event date. When events are created in advance, attendees can pre-register and your reports reflect higher engagement. Use reports to identify instructors creating events after the fact and coach them on best practices.
  • Minimize after-event attendee registration. Attendees registered after an event require manual entry by instructors and may not meet some recognition organizations' attendance requirements. Reports help you spot patterns and address them.
  • Review reports monthly. Most reports show data by month, so a regular monthly review keeps you ahead of trends.
  • Use filters to spot outliers. Filtering by individual instructors or courses highlights opportunities for coaching, recognition, or retiring underperforming courses.

Troubleshooting

  • The Reports menu isn't visible. Confirm your account has permission to view reports. If it does and the menu is still missing, contact CEU Events support.
